Can Assoc Radiol J. 1993 Apr;44(2):133-4.

The author reports a case of venous thrombosis of the middle lobe occurring after upper lobectomy. Rapid lobar opacification without loss of volume is characteristic of this uncommon postoperative complication. Correct interpretation of the postoperative radiographs and early reoperation are essential.
